I am an Integrated Phd student. My current project is aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms of mesoderm specification along anterior-posterior axis. The genetic networks and molecular mechanisms underlying cell fate commitment and organogenesis fascinates me. What intrigues me even more is exploring the evolutionary perspective on the development of novel cell types and the role mechanical forces play in embryo development.
