Introduction

In limb development, FGF4 is implicated in branching morphogenesis, while FGF8 regulates segmentation. Contrary to prior literature suggesting redundancy, FGF4 and FGF8 exhibit distinct, non-overlapping functions. Through transcriptomic analysis, downstream molecules were identified. My aim is to conduct functional analyses to evaluate their specific effects on branching morphogenesis.
