Introduction

After completing my PhD at IIT Kanpur in the Bandyopadhyay lab, I joined the Rohner Lab at the Stowers Institute as a Postdoctoral research associate. I use blind cavefish as a model to understand how organisms evolve and adapt to extreme environments. Specifically, I study the impact of 3D genome organization on these processes and investigate the role of developmental innovations in shaping evolution.
