Introduction

I am a Senior Research Fellow at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune, working in the field of insect immunology with a focus on the crosstalk between immune responses and trehalose metabolism. My research explores how metabolic pathways, particularly trehalose regulation, influence insect immune defense mechanisms under various stress or pathogenic conditions. I have practical experience in a wide range of molecular biology techniques, including RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, RNAi-mediated gene knockdown, protein analysis, and insect bioassays. My work combines molecular biology, biochemistry, and entomology to better understand insect physiology and contribute to potential strategies in pest control and metabolic regulation
