Introduction

After completing my M.Tech in marine biotechnology, I joined as a doctoral student in Srimonta Gayen's Lab at DBG , IISc. I am interested in epigenomic landscape of mammalian embryonic development and how it finetunes gene expression. I am currently working on role of epigenetics in aging as well embryonic development. I am looking into chromatin and DNA modifications in several mouse embryonic lineages and planning to decipher the role of these modifications in a disease context as well. I love reading and writing. I also like to do swimming and art/craft in spare time.
