Suvimal Kumar Sindhu

Suvimal Kumar Sindhu, Ph.D. is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Neuroscience at Yale School of Medicine. His research investigates gene-regulatory networks underlying neocortical development, evolution, and disease, with a focus on microRNA-19b and metabolic pathways. By integrating molecular, imaging, and computational approaches, he has advanced understanding of how neuronal proliferation and cortical circuit formation are regulated. He is equally committed to teaching and mentoring, with experience training students across experimental and computational neuroscience.
