Satish Khurana

Satish Khurana is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM), India. Satish completed his doctoral studies from National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi and pursued post-doctoral research at the Stem Cell Institute, Leuven, Belgium in the lab of Prof. Catherine Verfaillie. He started his lab at IISER TVM in 2015 and his group is interested in understanding various aspects of mammalian hematopoiesis through a developmental lens. The lab majorly focusses on the involvement of integrin signaling and energy producing metabolic pathways in cell fate decisions in hematopoietic system.
