Introduction
My research group specializes in vascular biology with a primary focus on the lymphatic system. We utilize the zebrafish model to address our research questions, particularly concerning the development of vascular networks and the acquisition of vessel identity. My postdoctoral work on reprogramming lymphatic endothelial cells has significantly impacted our understanding of vascular diversity and adaptability.
I earned my Ph.D. from the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) in Bangalore, where my studies focused on serotonergic neuromodulation in the Drosophila olfactory system.
Beyond research, I am deeply committed to teaching and community outreach.
