Introduction
I am a DST-INSPIRE Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Zoology, Banaras Hindu University, India. My research focuses on understanding the role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and mitochondrial heat shock proteins in regulating stem cell niche homeostasis, using Drosophila as a model organism.
Beyond research, I am passionate about science communication, aiming to make complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging through public talks, writing, and digital media. I believe in using storytelling to inspire curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of science.
I am also dedicated to career counseling and mentorship, having led various sessions to guide students in navigating opportunities in science and STEM fields. I particularly focus on empowering young women in STEM, helping them make informed and confident career choices.
