Jayashree Mahajan

I am a third-year integrated PhD student at IISER Pune. I am investigating the role of peroxisomal dynamics in early embryonic development in Drosophila. My research aims to explore the cellular mechanisms underlying developmental outcomes as a consequence of maternal stress. In the future, I hope to apply these mechanistic insights in a clinical setting to contribute to the development of therapeutic interventions for various developmental disorders.
