I am an enthusiastic researcher with a keen interest in cilia biology and intracellular transport. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Delhi University, where I laid a solid foundation in understanding biological processes at the molecular level. Building upon this, I pursued a Master's degree focused on elucidating the functional significance of conserved charged residues within the stalk domain of kinesin 2. During a summer fellowship, I delved into DNA sequencing of patients with Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy (FECD), striving to uncover novel mutations. Equipped with a diverse skill set spanning bioinformatics, molecular biology, and biochemistry, I am driven to contribute meaningfully to impactful research endeavors in the field.
