Harsh Agrawal

I am a PhD student at IISER Thiruvananthapuram, studying developmental hematopoiesis with a focus on fetal liver hematopoiesis. My research aims to understand the signaling pathways regulating hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) expansion during development using transcriptomic, proteomic, and conventional HSC biology approaches. By integrating these techniques, I investigate niche-derived regulatory mechanisms that influence HSC fate and function. My ultimate objective is to translate these insights into clinical applications to enhance HSC expansion and improve transplantation therapies for patients.
