Introduction

I am Arunima Sen, a 2nd year Integrated PhD student in Dr. Abhishek Bhattacharya's lab in NCBS, Bangalore. I am interested to understand how glial cells establish and maintain cellular contacts with surrounding neuro-glial cells, mainly via gap junctions. I am using Caenorhabditis elegans as the model system to study the intricacies of glial connections and its role in organismal development and behavior.
