Anita Banerjee

I am a research scholar working with Dr. Ramkumar Sambasivan at IISER Tirupati. My broad interest lies in understanding the complexity of animal development. How within an embryo, specific cues at specific times inform cells to attain distinct identities intrigue me. In our lab we spend time trying to address the mechanisms diverging the mesodermal germ layer into its subsequent lineages. When not in lab, I 'self-organize' my time to read, sketch and play the violin.
