The Luxenburg Lab is seeking highly motivated PhD students to explore how epidermal stem cells regulate skin development, maintenance, and repair. The lab’s research combines molecular biology, advanced microscopy, mouse models, and a powerful in utero gene-editing system to study stem cells in their natural environment. The projects explore how the actin cytoskeleton and its adhesion complexes control stem cell function during the formation and development of the skin epidermis.

Qualification required:
Master’s degree in Biology/Life Sciences or related field.
Background in cell culture, microscopy, or mouse models is a plus.
