The BeST Cluster is inviting applications for the ‘Scholarship and Mentorship Programme for Women in STEM Education and Careers: BioWISE 2025 (Cohort 1- For PG Students)’, in collaboration with Biocon Foundation – India, a CSR arm of Biocon Biologics, and the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS).
This initiative is designed to empower and support women pursuing advanced studies and careers in STEM fields. Through this programme, selected 15 Post-Graduate students will be awarded scholarships, internships, and access to dedicated mentorship from leading experts in life sciences.

Post-Graduate students focusing on fields related to life sciences like Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Pharma, Applied Biology, and related subjects are encouraged to apply.
πππ₯ππππ’π¨π§ ππ«π’πππ«π’π:
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered-
Must be a female student currently in the final year of Post-Graduate studies or completed their degree in the last year
Belongs to a family with a total annual incomeβ―of less than 6 lakhs rupees
Must have consistently demonstrated strong academic performance, with a minimum of 75% marks
Should be enrolled in or have graduated from any college or university located in Karnataka. Candidates from Tier-2 and Tier-3 colleges will be given preference.
Must exhibit a clear and demonstrated interest in applied research.
First-generation learners will be given preference
Candidates and close relatives associated with our promoting partners (Biocon Group, BeST, or NCBS) are not eligible to apply.
