Development’s second call for their Pathway to Independence program is now open!
The Pathway to Independence (PI) program aims to support researchers in the developmental biology and stem cell field as they transition from postdoc to principal investigator. This scheme will provide mentorship and networking opportunities, and will help to raise the profile of those individuals selected to be part of the program. Following a successful first year in 2023, they now welcome applications from researchers planning to go on the job market in 2024. The deadline for applications is 31 January 2024, and successful PI Fellows will be announced in March 2024. For those candidates that they are not able to support directly through the program, they will be offering opportunities to take part in our ‘Development presents’ series of webinars, giving more postdocs a platform to present their work to an international audience.
